Other misc fixes like removal of goliath ground weapons, mobs spawning facing consistent directions, certain units automatically holding position, more. Some custom units and gfx were added (not too much yet, mostly QoL stuff like faster civilians(scarabs) or the new heros mentioned above) They are now unlocked naturally through the quests and the secret mixes are no longer secret (secrets have all been nerfed to only be minor bonuses) Secrets were all changed but the secret Tokens remain. Offensive buildings were changed, It is now only Cannon, Sunken, and Spore and they can be upgraded (the upgrades are different than unit upgrades however, costing more but doing more damage) Quests now lower in HP properly when a player leaves or loses Rounds now show their Life in the "rank" line (under their name) Units now sell for prices matching their rarity Sell units with command card (hotkey C or click the button to sell) High score // (very indepth / add more info on this) "Shield" armor was given to mobs (each round now has armor using the shield due to armors 255 limit) (this is factored in the difficulty) There is now an easy, normal, and hard mode (with one life as the 4th option) Game difficuly has been made much more flexible by adding some of the new features to the difficulty modifier. Melee heros were also added (most have archon range) Custom heros were added to fill gaps in the classes with the new damage types // (add info on these) Units weapons now show this information when you hover over them New damage types: Fast, Boss, Hero, // (Concussive and Explosive were removed) New endings depending on which quests are destroyed (other factors like difficulty chosen, one life mode, ect modify victory as well) Entirely new bottom area with new quests, secrets, objectives These are some of the main changes for the beta : (future versions will be getting these changed up) This version is EUD and has drastic changes across the board but core concepts will be left intact for the initial release.
